Figure bases

These are resin cast bases for figures. I'm cutting circles of sticky back magnetic sheet that attach into the depressions. Steel washers are mounted on the figures and then they are held into place magnetically. Not alot of grip but enough that you can move the bases around without the figures falling out. The last pic is a variety of bases I'm getting ready to mold.

Behind but catching up

Althought the new website is up I don't like the format so switching to a new host. At this time it appears the new host will be more functional, but still have to build the site. Right now its in progress at kancalicasting.com. Once its done, with the ecommerce system installed and checked, the domain name will change to kancali.com.
With switching sites for the second time and orders to produce I am missing getting fun stuff done but will post what I have this weekend. I've gotten the magnetic base forms done and some more orcs and goblins finished. The bases should allow alot of flexibility for both small and large battles.

Wargaming table set up

This is a 4' x 6' sheet of 2" thick polyfoam board. I painted it
with a coat of old interior latex house paint I had in storage.
Lightweight enough so I can slide it off the work table as needed.
I thought I would have to figure out a mounting system, but
there is enough surface area friction to hold it in place enough
for gaming.

Painted on a base coat of green and gold then applied
ground foam for texture.

The website is up and running. There are still links, photos and such to be added as February progresses.
I will also try to use the home page for specials and notifications of ebay auctions.

New website is under construction

15mm skull outpost- resin cast

Front and rear view of this piece. The eye sockets are hollow - perfect for archers. The figure shown is a 15mm ogre. This could also be used for a defensive position for 25mm fantasy figures.
